SCREENING OF POLYCLONAL AND MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES ON HUMAN CELLS AND TISSUES

Using immunohistochemical techniques, PhenoPath Laboratories will screen monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies to determine and/or confirm cell or tissue specificity. Depending upon the desired properties of the antibody, screening can be performed on cell lines, frozen tissues, or deparaffinized, formalin fixed tissues. Tissue pretreatment (e.g., epitope retrieval), detection systems and amplification methods are selected and customized to maximize sensitivity and specificity. Extensive quality control is performed on all tissues and antibodies.
